Lynch Mob Calls, a line of waterfowl calls manufactured in West Henrietta, NY, has partnered with the 9th Annual Yates County Youth Turkey Hunt taking place on Saturday, April 21st and Sunday, April 22nd by providing a donation of 30 Intimidator Series Aluminum turkey calls.
Lynch Mob Calls’ founder, George Lynch, has been a long-time proponent of involving youth in the outdoors and hunting culture for decades, and has worked nation-wide to promote events such as the Yates County Youth Turkey Hunt.
“There’s no better way to encourage our youth to enjoy the great outdoors and hunting culture than hosting events like these,” Lynch said. “Turkey hunting at the onset of the season is one of the most exciting times to be in the field, and I’m thrilled that Lynch Mob Calls can be there to help bring the birds in for these young hunters.”
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) opens the youth turkey season across the state with several county youth turkey hunts as part of the department’s Wild Turkey Management Plan. Events such as these provide more accurate harvest estimates and a more realistic assessment of the status of wild turkey populations.
